About Flame Broiler

Flame Broiler is a healthy, quick-serve restaurant famous for its Korean-inspired menu with high-quality ingredients, craveable sauces, and charbroiled cooking. Young Lee opened the first store in 1995 to serve his community food he’d want to feed to his own family. Decades later, Young, along with his three sons, are still leading the company's mission to connect people to healthier food that tastes really darn good. If you don’t believe us, just ask the Lee family - they still eat a bowl almost every day with no signs of slowing down.

Bakersfield is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bakersfield follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Came in at 5:00 PM and 20 seconds, attempted to order the Happy Hour deal which is a mini chicken bowl with a drink and since I was late by 20 seconds the manager wouldn’t override her POS system and honor the happy hour deal. Do Better! Your customer service is sub par.

I recently picked up the Half & Half Plate at Flame Broiler at its drive-thru; I found the food enjoyable. The concept of mixing chicken and beef with a choice of rice intrigued me. Here’s what stood out: 1. Customization: The restaurant offers a variety of sauces, allowing diners to personalize their meal. I appreciated being able to control the sauce quantity – not too much, not too little. Healthier Option: Compared to other fast-food meals, Flame Broiler is a healthier choice. The plate comes with a generous serving of veggies, which balances out the protein and rice. 2. White Rice vs. Brown Rice: I opted for white rice, and it was perfectly cooked – fluffy and not overly sticky. The brown rice option is also available for those seeking a heartier base. 3. Veggies: The veggies were fresh and crisp. They added a nice crunch to the plate and complemented the protein well. Overall, Flame Broiler’s Half & Half Plate is a satisfying and wholesome meal. If you’re looking for a quick, customizable, and healthier options.

Great food, as first time the food tasted good. That said, there was hair in the rice and when I let the waiter know they told me to bring back the food next time.
